WHY I’M QUALIFIED TO HELP YOU

You’re not here for a lecture. You’re here because you’re tired of feeling crazy, confused, guilty, or stuck.

And you want someone who actually gets it — not someone who learned this from a textbook.

I get it because I've lived every layer of it.

My Childhood: The Blueprint I Never Knew I Had

I grew up learning how to take care of everyone except myself.

My parents divorced young, and I became the emotional buffer between adults who couldn’t manage their own feelings.

  • My mother leaned on me for comfort but couldn’t show up when I needed her.
  • I chased attention any way I could, because even negative attention felt like connection.
  • I was the helper, the fixer, the one who stayed quiet so everyone else could be loud.

 - I didn’t know it then, but these moments became the blueprint for every relationship I chose later.

  • I learned to accept crumbs.
  • I learned to feel responsible for other people’s emotions.
  • I learned that if I didn’t perform, I didn’t get love.

And that training runs deep.

My Early Adulthood: Becoming the ‘Married Single Mom’

Fast-forward to adulthood, where these childhood patterns played out perfectly:

  • I married a covert narcissist who called me names in front of my children.
  • I did 95% of parenting while he slept in, took his time, and lived like a bachelor.
  • I was constantly criticized, constantly blamed, constantly told I was “crazy.”
  • I kept everything running while slowly losing myself.
  • He used reactive abuse, guilt, and control — and I didn’t recognize it because it felt familiar.

I finally left because I didn’t want my daughters thinking that was what love looks like.

Leaving didn’t mean I understood why I stayed so long. That came later.

Dating After Divorce: The Trauma Bond That Nearly Broke Me

Then came the relationship that cracked me open. The man who:

  • emotionally and physically cheated
  • hid his phone like it was a national secret
  • had a full roster of women
  • love-bombed me
  • breadcrumbed me
  • made passion feel like connection
  • made chaos feel like love
  • told me “believe what you want” whenever I confronted him with the truth

It was intense. It was addictive. It was a trauma bond on steroids. And here’s the part I’m not ashamed to admit:

I stayed anyway. I went back. I ignored the red flags.  My nervous system was trained to chase the person who hurt me. Because the “high” of his attention mirrored the highs and lows I had always known. I mistook intensity for intimacy.

It wasn’t weakness. It was programming. And recognizing that changed everything.

My Wake-Up Call: ADHD, Patterns, and the “It Was Never Me” Moment

What blew my mind was realizing:

  • I wasn’t “broken.”
  • I wasn’t “too much.”
  • I wasn’t “the problem.”

My ADHD didn’t make me unlovable — it made me vulnerable to manipulators.

My childhood wounds trained me to tolerate what I should have walked away from.

When all of that clicked, my entire life made sense. It wasn’t my fault but it was my job to change it.

And I did.

My Family Today: Patterns, Boundaries, and Choosing Myself

Setting boundaries with my mother and extended family was the final piece.

  • The gaslighting.
  • The denial of my reality.
  • The favoritism.
  • The exclusion from holidays.
  • The guilt.
  • The triangulation.

I walked away. I chose peace over family dysfunction. And I’m not ashamed of that.

Sometimes healing means letting go of people who refuse to grow.

Why I’m Qualified to Help You

I’m not a therapist. I’m not pretending to be one.

But I am:

  • someone who has lived the cycles you’re stuck in
  • someone that has gone for 7-mile long walks crying to understand why I feel so awful
  • scream-cry into a pillow so the neighbors don't call the cops in fear
  • someone who knows the emotional traps, the mental spirals, the pull - of the trauma bond - it is strong and anyone who tells you to just leave, had never ever felt the absolute power it has over you
  • someone who learned how to break patterns that were decades old
  • someone who understands narcissistic abuse from the inside
  • someone who rebuilt her life while raising kids, healing ADHD burnout, and unlearning
    generational dysfunction

I am the voice you need when you’re tempted to go back, tempted to settle, tempted to shrink yourself just to keep someone else comfortable.

I am proof that:

  • You can outgrow your trauma.
  • You can learn healthy love.
  • You can stop accepting crumbs.
  • You can break the cycle even if no one else does.

I won’t judge you. I won’t gaslight you. I won’t minimize what you’ve survived. I’m here to walk beside you and help you make sense of the things you were never taught to understand. Your story doesn’t scare me. Because I’ve lived my own.

I'm telling you now... if I can claw my way out of my past and build a life where I’m finally choosing myself — so can you.

You don’t have to do it alone.
